Mainly is because how much it is different with the everyday experience of using real money, and how much effort should be spent just to barely explain the basics of Cryptocurrency mining to potential user/consumer. At the time, it’s not exactly a good effort-to-result ratio to be involved in Cryptocurrencies. It’s not considered as sustainable alternatives for real money, hence, for potential user, was not a very viable way to spent time, resource and effort. But many times had passed since then. It is now a little over a decade since the founding of Bitcoin as the pioneer of Cryptocurrencies. And, oh my! How much has changed since then. Many had realized the future potential of Cryptocurrency. Many had considered Cryptocurrency as an alternative way to invest with relatively low risk (as it did not involve real-world collateral), many had chosen Cryptocurrency mining as a serious way to earn a respectable amount of money (by money, I mean verified transactions). In short, with opportunity comes user, with the user, comes the system. Combine all that, we have an ecosystem of Cryptocurrencies. it’s a good sign for the future.

But the question remains still. With a currency essentially based on P2P confirmation embedded in its own system, how long does the system last before someone found and exploit the systems loophole, and consequently, crumbles the system down from the inside?

Enter DexAge, a short for “a Decentralized Exchange with Multi-Tier Trading Ecosystem”. This up and coming to Cryptocurrency Fintech differs from others because of its effort to build an autonomous and sustainable ecosystem which mutually benefits all its main component, from user, trader, to lender. The focus of empowerment of its stakeholder which makes DexAge sounds like utopia. A dream too good to be true.

But the most interesting thing is how reasonable their system really is. Yes. They actually made a compelling argument as to how Cryptocurrencies should be used; which is, amusingly, as multipurpose and multifunctional tools for its user to participate in P2P trade, investment, and loan marketplace. And how they try to achieve that? By making their Cryptocurrency (DXG tokens) able to do Crypto-to-Crypto exchange, able to be used as collateral for P2P lending, and Escrow Trading. Then, they glued all this component together by creating the necessary social app (DXG Chat App) to enhance communication and active participation between its user. In short, DXG tokens will become more and more valuable when the user is actively aligning their own interest with other users, as there will be more and more verification of the DXG token’s ability to do various transactions which have real-world value.

Well, isn’t it the textbook definition of mutualism?

As of the time of this writing, the DXG is still not in its complete form. We can’t judge anything now as they still on the process of crowdsale, the formation of DexAge user which is basically the foundation, or fuel of their system. It should be noted that this is the year when they’re planning to launch the Beta of their P2P lending app and DXG Chat. By that time we’ll be seeing at its complete form. Watching how they will operate and regulate is a thing to be excited with.
